I had someone over working on my pool and it appears they broke the screen to my Hayward controller, so Im looking for a how to turn on the pump manually? When I open the pump cover I have no power or nothing on the display. please let me know
The CB is turned on. and I only have the one screen on the controller pad. I am guessing here but I assume when I turn on the pump or filter using the controller pad it triggering a relay that powers the pump. So Do I need to bypass that relay somehow temperary
In the menu on the pump, get to "standalone" and you will have control over the pump if there is power to it and no other damage. The pump should have constant power, it is not controlled by a relay. The CB is turned on. and I only have the one screen on the controller pad. Some VSPs no longer come with their own control panel. See many Jandy VSPs.All VSP's can be controlled from their own control panel.
Based on what is seen in that picture, if the breaker is not tripped, there is continuous power to the pump. Top left relay has two yellow from the breaker and the pump-power wires under the same terminal. It works that way to power the pump continually.View attachment 643653
Ok maybe not a relay but a device that needs to turn on to get power to the pump?
Show us pictures of how you connected things.OK, verified Pump has 240v AC at the pump, dispaly still off. Powered off CB disconnected the control connector and reconnected the pump cable. turned back CB verified power good still no display?
