My ScreenLogic app is showing only 2 of my pump setting schedules as active (in green) and the “day speed” and “high speed” settings do not appear to automatically kick in. Does any one know how to enable these schedules through the app?

Scott,

Did those schedules work just fine and then you changed something and now they don't work?

Are your egg timers all set to the default of 12 hours?? If not, how many are set to something else??

Do you have ScreenLogic on your PC?

Thanks,

Jim R.

They were working but I may have inadvertently done something to turn them off. I don’t think I did but I’m not entirely sure. Egg timers are 12 hours. I do not have ScreenLogic on a PC.

Scott,

I asked about the egg-timers because you can only have 12 total schedules and that includes the egg-timers not at the default time..

Just to be clear.. Are you saying that at 7 am, your 'High Speed' does not turn green? Or are you saying that your pump does not change speeds?? These are two very different things.

Please tell me what pump speed is associated with your schedules.

I don't understand why you have a 'Pool speed' circuit and a 'Pool' circuit???

I assume you want the Pool Circuit to be on 24/7.. To do that it is best use the same start time and stop time.. Like... 8 am to 8 am. (That should not be your problem..)

Show me a pic of the screen on your EasyTouch..

Thanks,

Jim R.

In your example, neither the High Speed line turns green, nor does the pump increase speed.

As for “ pool speed” vs “pool” circuits - I have no idea - this was how it was setup by the pool company but never really cause an issue so I hadn’t touched it.

Here are the pump speeds:
Pool Speed (1700 RPM)
Day Speed (2400 RPM)
High Speed (3200 RPM)

Can you clarify what you’re looking for within EasyTouch? Something on the control panel itself? I’ve only ever used the screen logic app (except to switch to service mode).

I'd like to see the little 3" LCD screen on the EasyTouch panel..

On the surface, I don't see why it is not working...

But... I just upgraded to the IntelliCenter and deleted the two ScreenLogic apps.. I rarely used my phone, as the PC make programming about 10 times better.. So, I don't remember what my phone screens looked like.. :(

Nothing to do with your problem, but it seems like you are running your pump way too fast. Unless you have a Spa, 3200 is insane.. I 'assume' that you have an IntelliFlo pump???

Do you have ScreenLogic and SLConfig?? You really need both to program. If you have an old PC you might want to load ScreenLogic on it and use it to troubleshoot.

Let's see what Tom has to say... Calling @ogdento

Thanks,

Jim R.

Well, in taking the picture of the 3” lcd, I think I see the problem. The clock is 12 hours ahead. And, turns out pump was running at high speed and reflected accurately in the app - is it beleive it’s 7:55 am on Monday - when it’s really 7:55 pm on Sunday.

So, problem solved I think.

As for pump speed, yes it is an intelliflo VSP and we do have a spa. What would you recommend as a better high speed (or an overall program for 25k pool, with raised spa).

Scott,

If you have spa, then you should have a speed assigned to the Spa Circuit.. 3200 for the spa makes sense..

You should see a page in ScreenLogic, or SL Config, that shows a speed for every Circuit.. When you switch to the Spa mode, then the system know to run the 'spa' speed..

Test out your clock theory and see if that fixes the problems you were having.

Please let us know..

Just for reference, here is a pic of what I see on my PC.. I do not have a spa...

Thanks,

Jim R.

I agree with Jim - "Pool Speed" and "Pool" don't make sense.

Is "pool" actually the "pool circuit" (Master Pool) or did someone name a feature circuit "pool"? I've seen strange things happen when people have named Aux or Feature circuits using a "circuit type" as the name (Pool, spa, cleaner, spillway etc...)

What happens if you tap the listed circuits when you are on the pool page or the features page of the app? Does the pump respond accordingly?

I'm tempted to tell you to delete all those schedules, make sure your feature circuits are named properly and pump speeds are assigned properly and start over.

There are unlimited variations to suit your needs but this example is all anyone needs:

Pump speeds:
Pool 1750 Rpm
High speed - 3200 Rpm
Heater speed - 2900 Rpm

Schedules:
Pool 8am - 8pm
High speed 8:30am - 10:30am
High speed 6pm-7pm

Keep it simple.
