Calcium Chloride needed

Well dang. Got on here to research calcium chloride, ended up on this thread, was convinced to use the Snow Joe, product no longer available lol. Now what 🤨. Second year with our pool and this is the first time I need to raise CH. Not real sure of the best or (normal) way to go about it.
 
This is the one chemical I just go to the pool store and buy. Yeah, PoolStored goes to the pool store. Just make sure it is 100% calcium chloride.

You can broadcast it over the surface in the deep end. Make sure to brush until all the product is dissolved. Never let any product sit on the pool surface.

Note that after adding calcium, keep a close eye on your FC.

We have seen quite a few reports of FC going to 0 after adding calcium. We cannot explain why chemically but it does.
