New Pool Build - NE OK - Beginning from scratch and looking for design feedback.

Thank you to everyone for your layout ideas, I believe we have generally settled with the below with some possible very minor tweaks. Dimensions will be 32'x20'x4' flat bottom (although a 16' width is depicted in the rendering at the moment). Ledge will be 6'x10' although considering moving this to 12' wide at layout. We decided to just add benches to each corner for conversation areas and easy in and out to keep the swim and play lanes as open as possible. If we want to add more seats, we will add some of those plastic stools. The kids are young enough now I believe we are many years from this being a pool focused on adult relaxation :).

For the stairs, I believe we have ditched the spiral idea based on a combination of ease of use and cost. If I find a used staircase during the build, this may change.

Now on to the equipment quoted! I would love to hear feedback on this. Also let me know if this should be a separate thread or post.

We live in SW OK and had a similar situation. Our backyard has a drop as shown before we started construction. We had a large wall built and put in a fiberglass pool. Later, we wanted the equipment to be shaded, so we built a fence with overhead cover to hide and shade the pool equipment, HVAC unit, and to store chaise loungers during winter. We love that we can set up the Cornhole game in the grass just off the back porch. We bought large cantilever umbrellas to shade the cornhole players (when it's not too windy). We wish we had more shade for the pool itself, however. We had an auto pool cover installed and that has helped tremendously to keep it clean, reduce evaporation, and help to control pool water temperature somewhat. The other best thing we did was used a corner of the back porch to install an outdoor bathroom. Good luck to you. I hope my pics upload okay, I was fighting with several being too large.

Love this setup all the way around. Beautiful and clean!

Is that stained and stamped concrete or tiles? Love the coping as well, do you have the details of both the coping and the decking?

We already have the outdoor bathroom accessed from the porch, but really love this open air concept.

Thanks for the positive feedback! The decking is stained and stamped concrete. The coping is also a darker stained concrete. Glad you have an outdoor bathroom, it is so convenient. I find we use the outdoor bathroom a lot during warmer weather. I love the open air that flows through.
