I’m installing my RJ45+ and it’s going ok except for one issue. When I dry fit the flow switch into the 2 inch pvc it goes in very little unlike my couplers. Will the primer and glue help this go in deeper?

The primer will lubricate the pipe so it slides in a bit better.
You can also lightly sand the pipe with sandpaper to dry fit it completely.

My experience with primer is it makes the pipes as grippy as heck. On the other hand, the glue is like silicone lubricant and makes it dead easy to slide in and position (before it bites and then it's done).
Just as an update once I put glue on the pvc there was no issue getting it fully seated.
