Greetings,

Recently purchased the above mentioned to replace my 16 year old Autopilot DIG220 system.
Does anyone here have any experience with this hybrid system. Really loved my old autopilot but needed a way to view my system remotely so I got this with the WiFi relay.

Also looking for advice on how to automate a Hayward Super II single speed pump, thinking about just getting a Dewenwils WiFi timer but I also need something in which the pool guy can physically switch the pump on/off to back wash the filter .

Thank you.

I don't have 1st hand experience, as I am looking into this system for my future build. I am shocked that they didn't include automation for a pump, like the old Dig220 system did. One step forward, adding WiFi, one step back taking away pump control. VERY ODD.

I'll look into it. When i spoke to saltpoolguys they said this hybrid system is fairly new. But i rolled the dice and ordered it as i really want the automation.
Once i get it plumbed up i'll update the thread and let you know how it's working.

Let me know how you like it. I just ordered same setup for my new build in Jan.
So update:

I've been running the system now since November. No issues so far.
I have my Hayward Super II pump running off a Dewenwils Smart Timer and the Chlorsync Power Unit running off a separate independent Dewenwils Smart Timer.
The Poolsync App is a bit Buggy, in terms of WiFi connectivity. Salt readings, temperature and chemistry seems to be spot on when compared to Test Strips.
Swapping from the Old Pool Pilot to this new unit took around 3 hours installing when wiring up all the smart timers.
No regrets buying so far.

Thanks. I have the unit waiting to be installed during my new pool build starting next week. Im not surprised about the wifi/app issue. Everyone's app/wifi products have glitches. And I am not surprised at how accurate the readings are. I had the older dig220 SWG system, and the reading were spot on, i never bothered manually checking the salt levels.
