Pentair master temp 400- display blank

Hey guys,

It’s my daughter’s 16 birthday and trying to heat the pool for a party.

The heater is turning on, water feels warm but I have no display to check water temperature or heat temperature.

I replaced the thermostat, no luck.


Any suggestions I can do on my own?
 
How old is the heater?

The display is attached to the PCB, and you need to replace the board for a new display.

Buy a new Pentair board. People have mixed experiences with cheap clone boards.

Take pics of the wiring.

Label the wires.

Remove screws.

Remove wires.

Install new board.

Install wires and connectors in the correct orientation.

Any suggestions on where to purchase?

I called my local store they want $800 for it.

Online looks much less expensive, is it ok to purchase on Amazon if labeled pentair?
