is Pentair Admiral S20 Skimmer Double Walled at Inlet?

Hi all, I just noticed as I was reinstalling my Weir door that just below one of the Pivot Pins there is a 1/2 " long x about .020 thousandths crack.. Big enough to lose a lot of water every day.. But after dye testing there is absolutely no dye sucking into the crack, and No water loss at all. I can repair and cover crack with AB epoxy but wondering why there was no leak through this crack. Is the skimmer double wall in this inlet area?.. Thanks if some knows the answer

JamesW, Thank you, these are nice hi res pics. I still can not judge this assembly from the parts breakdown. What appears as a "liner" does not show the Pivot pins as an integral part . I hope some hands on field experiance can answer my inquiry.

I can repair and cover crack with AB epoxy

I would highly recommend Plast-aid. It bonds extremely well with PVC, and it's unbelievably strong.

Well, if there's nowhere for the water to go on the other side of the crack, no leak! It could be cemented in or have thick clay all around that area.

Just repair the crack with Plast-Aid or an epoxy filler and you'll be good to go.
