Our Wet Edge Luna Quartz plaster is a year old and has been through two hot starts trying to resolve splotchiness since construction. This did not resolve the splotchiness issue and has caused our plaster to become very rough to the touch. I had heard that diamond pad polishing Luna Quartz is not effective. Is this true? Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks for the link. I'm wondering though if anyone has polished Wet Edge Luna Quartz specifically, and if they are satisfied with the results.
Stand by, and we will see if anyone comes forward.

I have Luna Quartz. It appears the little quartz bits are at the surface of the plaster. Polishing might actually remove them. I agree with @ajw22 that you should try a small, inconspicuous area and see what happens.
