Hello new to this forum. But I have a 19,000 gallon pool. My Hayward 1.5 super pump single speed went after 10 years . I live near the coast. Can’t find a replacement. Have any recommendations. Thank you I’m sure I’ll have more questions coming.

Welcome to TFP! In today's pool world, single speeds are a thing of the past and go against DOE rules. Your best best is to shop for a Variable Speed Pump (VSP). You might even qualify for a rebate from your local electric company. It doesn't have to be Hayward unless you use automation and there is a compatibility issue. There are lots of VSPs on the market today. Best to get a strong VSP, probably 2-3 HP, and you can always adjust the rpm to a low speed for energy savings.

If cost is an issue, my VGreen variable speed motor has served well for many years. It would entail replacing the motor only, and not the entire pump system. https://www.regalrexnord.com/brands/century/products/pool-and-spa/vgreen-evo-variable-speed-motor
There are differing styles to fit an existing pump, so need to know what specific pump model you have. And you should plan on replacing any shaft seals/o-rings/etc. on the pump, since those likely are worn also.
It can be set to run various different speeds during the day, or have periods of running/not running. The only downside is that it doesn't know the time of day - so by itself it just loops through a schedule every 24hrs, based on the time power was first turned on. I ran mine for years like that, but eventually added a timer to restart the 24hr cycle at the same time every day. New versions apparently play well with other brands of automation, but I can't comment.

Definitely need New pump any recommendations as far as names . $$ not an issue I believe you by the best you get the best. Hayward I hear is king and being so close to the coast the salt air is brutal. But I’ll take any good advice. I have no automation just a chlorine feeder and Intermatic timer.

Pentair Intelliflo3 011077 with optional touch screen or Hayward TriStar 950.

Intelliflo3 has remote app and IO board capabilities the TriStar does not have.
