What is the powder test? And do you think the pH is reading 7.8?

Do you not have one of our recommended FAS/DPD test kits? I would call the PH to be between 7.5 and 7.8. You basically just want to be in the 7s.

I have been slowly adding MA to the pool and the pH has come down. My Chlorine test today came out a little wonky. I tested it three times and each test had a orange tent to it. What do you think?

Try viewing with a white background. Looks like it is still high to me but can't really tell 'till you use a white background.
