Like most areas on the coast we had some flooding and my pump won't work. Pump is as high up as it can be for now. Pool builder built up as much as they could but we are on the Anclote river so not much you can do when we have as much storm surge as we do. I had someone come out to give me a repair quote and it was more than me buying a new pump and they wanted 800 more than I can buy a new pump myself. Going to buy the replacement on amazon and anytime the weather calls for storm surge like we saw I'll just disconnect and remove the pump to higher ground from now on. I have an all hayward setup with omnilogic. Once I physically install and wire the pump (just going to copy the same wiring that's currently used for the install) what else do I need to do to get this running properly with my pool and spa. Thanks for the help, I know I'm going down to a 1 year warranty but they won't cover water damage anyways so I figured why buy the instore model. This property has never flooded this bad before but who knows what the future holds, could be more often so cheaper is better than a warranty that doesn't help cover flood damage anyways. Thanks for the help guys, long time reader first time poster.
