Hi everyone and thanks for reading this question,
So I had a Jandy Heat Pump / Chiller installed during my recent build here in Panama City, FL.
One idea was to extend our swim season into the fall as long as possible.
I wondered if anyone has any experience doing the same and roughly how much electricity I might use during the process.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Gregg

- Average Temps here are:
- Sept = 79
- October = 71
- November = 62
- I would like to keep the pool at 80 during these three months.
- ~0.13 / Kwh here
- Using ChatGPT, plugging in the Heat Pump BTUs of
- 130,000 for September
- 120,000 for October
- 100,000 for November
- 6.57 kW of the heat Pump
- and it says I will pay:
- $3 to maintain 80 degrees in September
- $25 to maintain 80 degrees in October
- $57 to maintain 80 degrees in November
- I think these numbers are way low...

Any thoughts?
Thanks Gregg
