Power from transformer is fine. Power betweeen yellow wires is fine. No power at orange lines or the red and black. We have changed the rectifiers and it does not help. It is a new pub board and also new cell-15. I understand that the orange wire goes to the rectifier that changes it th DC and goes out to the red and black wires to the board. So it seems the problem is with the power to orange wires from the board?

Welcome to the forum!

You haven't told us what controller you have but the following will apply to the AquaLogic, ProLogic & AquaPlus controllers although the boards will be slightly different.

First check the yellow fuse between the yellow and orange wires (see below).

Another likely problem is the K1 relay. It connects the yellow and orange wires to energize the rectifiers.

Look on the back side of the board for a cold solder joint (i.e. not shinny and/or loose). This is the most common issue and can be easily fixed with refloating the joint. If that is ok, then replacing the K1 relay may help.

Thank you. It is a brand new board and looks exactly as your photo. There is power between the yellows but not the orange. Would it be the relay on a brand new board? Actually this is the second board as we thought the first might have been defective.

Have you checked the fuse first?

Also, you will only see voltage on the orange wires when the SWG is turned on. If you restart the SWG (Diagnostic Menu, ">", "+") and you don't hear a click near the K1 relay, then it is not turning on.

Does the "No Cell Power" come on immediately after the relay click or do you not hear a relay click?

We have checked the fuse and it is fine. We have tried to restart the SWG through the diagnostic menu but it just does the countdown, quickly flashes zeroes and then back to the No Cell Power message and a Chlorintor Off message. We did not restart by the board but remotely in our house so we will need to do that now to listen for a click. When you say,nit turning on, you mean the relay correct?

Just to let you know that we have replaced rectifiers, and main board and the cell-15. All new. Voltage to yellow wire but not to orange, red or black. Relay clicks when trying to turn chlorinator on after countdown.

It would seem the second one is bad too. I would look for another seller. These are knockoff boards.

Hayward OEM boards have two white stickers with numbers in the upper right and left and PN number in the middle.
