I just had a new pool built and the pool builder did not add an auto fill valve - is it easy to install an automatic fill valve? And what auto valve would you recommend? The pool builder chose Jandy equipment.
As a prototype that’s not a bad effort but using clear primer and glue would make it look a lot better. If it’s connected via a garden hose leaving it on full time is a bit of a worry. Eventually the garden hose connection will fail if left permanently presurised.
It wouldn’t be to hard to make one from bits from a hardware. I’ve made one in a square shape using a side entry toilet valve. I use a battery operated timer tap to limit the possibility of failure. I give it 20-30 minutes per day.
