In my filter- it’s a cartridge filterWhat are the "cartridges?"
I thought I was doing that. Yesterday I was low on my FC so I added the recommended amount and then today it registered none which made me think chlorine lock. I’ll see what happens these next few days. And try adding more to play around with it.Your issue is not chlorine lock.
Your issue is not maintaining FC for your CYA. Always follow this:--Link-->FC/CYA Levels
Dose FC so that your results are always in range, WHEN YOU TEST. If you have to raise FC above range, so that you are in range the next day when you test, then do that.
Recommended amount to get to what FC value.I thought I was doing that. Yesterday I was low on my FC so I added the recommended amount and then today it registered none which made me think chlorine lock. I’ll see what happens these next few days. And try adding more to play around with it.
I’m backTest, use pool math (PoolMath) and enter your test result. Use pool math to determine how much chlorine to add to get from your test FC to target FC.
I just want to say THANK YOU!!! It took just shy of 2 weeks of slamming, but I have finally met all the criteria to ease off. Thank you for your patiences with me- my pool seems to be holding chlorine way better than it was. Now my only question is should I adjust alkalinity? My test result yesterday showed 220, but I’m not having any issues. PH is registering 7.8 and has been stable (for now).Normal. You haven't met OCLT, nor CC<=.5.
Scrub the bubblers. remove the main drain covers, scrub them and the inlet in the floor (TURN THE PUMP OFF). Check the weir doors for algae. Scrub the skimmers. Remove ladders and scrub INSIDE and out. Remove any lights and scrub behind them.
