How To 2" Plumbing on Pump?

Hey, Team!
Hope y'all are having Trouble Free Pools so far this season! Question: Does anyone know how to plumb a Pentair 342002 (Superflo VST 1.5HP) with 2" pipe?

It comes with 1.5" (very thick) slip unions but a number of resources say it can be plumbed to 1.5" or 2" but I can't find a compatible union part listed anywhere which says it will take 2"?? For the record, a generic 2" heater union is way too big.

These are the unions for that pump. 2" outside, 1.5" inside.

Shazam! Yup you nailed it thanks! I thot I thought I was looking for an all in one Pentair 2" union I couldnt find, but unstead will just fab it with the 1.5 threaded like you said plus a generic union I'll attach right after.

No, the union can have a 2" Fitting used on the outside.

A 2" coupling will slip onto the outside of the union like the outside of the union was 2" PVC pipe.
