How do I get the app to work with no internet ? After the hurricane I have power but my internet is down.

I went out yesterday and my second pump was hot and the water inside of it was like a hot tub so I shut my system down...I need to run my main pool pump but not sure how to do that in service mode or by using the local feature on the app?

Forget the app. Just go out to your outdoor panel, leave it in AUTO, and press POOL to get it running in POOL mode.

so I have it in auto but I can not figure out to leave one pump on and one pump off...do I just delete the program I guess?

My old school jandy in service mode I could manually turn each pump on but on this unit I dont see an options to just run my main pump..there is something labeled filter pump but nothing happens when its turned on.

Second issue it seemed like my second pump was having trouble priming, it was running but apparently instead of shutting off it ran hot enough to heat up all the water inside when I took the filter basket out. I dont understand why it didnt shut down if it couldnt prime

I don't understand what your second pump is for.

Need details about the models of the pumps we are discussing and how they are wired and controlled.

They VS pumps controlled by RS-485? If so set the second pump speed to 0 to turn it off.

Manual control in SERVICE mode should let you turn on individual devices.

second pump is for my infinity waterfall feature....all controlled by the intellicenter but probably wasnt programmed correctly by the pool builder ....controls on the pump cant be controlled since its tied to the panel

I have an intelliflo XF VSF(feature) and and a I2 pump (main). On both displays it says display not active.
Good. That tells us the pumps are alive and have RS-485 connection with the IntelliCenter.

What does your pump settings show for the pumps?

4x4,

For a pump to run under the control of your automation, several things have to happen.

The system must be in AUTO and not the Service Mode
A Circuit must be on.. Usually the Pool Circuit, but it can be any circuit
The Circuit that is on must have a pump speed assigned to it.. As in Pool - 1500 RPM.
The Pump Type has to agree with the pump you have.. As in VS or VST or ??
The automation must be in control of the pump.. For IntelliFlo pumps with displays, the Display will show "Display Not Active".

Thanks,

Jim R.

Sorry I have been out of town but will check these today.

Question,

When its put into service mode, can you then use the displays on the motors to control manually?

I am shocked my pump didnt burn up, the water was steaming hot when I opened it up.
