I have a Circupool core 55 SWG and I noticed in March that after about a year of use I’m not getting much FC production out of it. I done at least five overnight tests in the past 10 days or day and all are a pass of less than 1.0 FC loss.

Based off my current run times 13 hours at 100% I should get nearly 8FC but I might be getting 1-2 as it seems like it can barely keep my level flat through the day but I’ve had to add tabs and liquid to keep it up over longer periods of time. Last year at i could run it at 75% during the summer and at 100% my FC would climb up. I have a lot of trees around my pool so demand is high even if the offseason but I was able to have the FC climb and turn it down previously

Current stats

TA - 110
CH - 300
Ph - 7.6
CYA 50-60
FC - 6

Time for an overnight chlorine gain test.
Like an oclt but you keep your cell on all night to see what you gain in the darkness.

After sunset, measure FC. Turn the cell up to some known % and run the pump overnight. Test FC again before the sun is up. Compare the FC rise between tests to the expected FC output at your known %.

Normally I would say to increase the CYA to 80 but there is this other Circupool thread from a few months ago......don't know if it is relevant to your issue but worth a read.

Once you’ve covered all the bases-
oclt, no scale, appropriate salt level ✅ via 2 sources, & ocgt its time to put in a warranty claim armed with your data.

Resolved the issue, was a bad dpd test kit that was two maybe three months old. That said will never purchase a Circupool product again, they don’t answer their phone and are nothing but condescending over email. Was super unprofessional
So it was/is producing properly?
Hate to hear you had a bad experience w/circupool.
