Just tested the FC and it’s 22 ppm. The slam target level says FC has to be 10. So I do nothing? And just wait for the FC to get below 10?

I may not understand the pool calculator. I plugged in my FC of 22 and selected slam. It said target FC was 10. Is the initial slam target constant?

You did not record a CYA of 60 as "log test results" Log a CYA of 60, then go back to the FC page. Your CYA is 0 on that page above, because you didn't enter the CYA test.

Yeah, but you just entered 24. Log the CYA of 60, so it calculates the right slam target.

If you are on the FC page, change it to 10. Click done. Exit. It should default to 10 the next time.

What version are you on? (menu-->about TFP, scroll to the bottom).

Make sure you hit the top right check mark last Aa well when done. My iPhone app I missed that step at the beginning

That is odd. In the top left where you have the lines and bar drop down- effects of adding. What # does it have there ? Mine shows 10 just as example.

Mine looks different. Under effects of adding it shows 6%. I change it to 10% but there is no way to save it, no check mark.

Just click done, and it should save it. If not, ignore it an make sure it is 10% when you calculate the amount. Clear pool is our objective!

I have played with it and tried several different options and it still defaults to 6%. Oh well, you are right, clear pool is the objective and I will make sure I have 10% input with each log. I'm now wondering, is there more than one pool math app? Maybe I have a different one?
