Hopefully this is the right place to post this in.
If not please direct me there! Lol

We have had our pool up for almost a month. At first, I couldn’t keep chlorine in it. It would test fine in the am but by afternoon it was low or completely gone. Now I cant get the chlorine lv down. I took the tablet holder out yesterday and the lvl might be coming down some but not much Also I added water. So yall have any suggestions? Should I add neutralizer? Would this level be safe to swim in? Thank you IMG_1627.jpeg

Im using this test kit. I havent saved the previous test levels but at one point it was orange. The pic i post above is the lightest it’s been all week. Just wanted it make sure it’s safe for my kids.

That kit is extremely limited in its capabilities and does not contain the FAS-DPD portion for accurate FC/CC testing. We would encourage you to consider obtaining either er a TF-100, TF Pro-Series, or Taylor K-2006C test kit. The TF products are a better value IMO, but it's certainly up to you. To better know if your FC is truly high, you need to know exactly how high the FC may be (i.e. 5, 7, 10, or more) and your current CYA level. Then you can reference our FC/CYA Levels for a comparison. This is when your pool details (signature) will also come into play.
