I got a new vacuum head this year and after using it I noticed water gets trapped in these 3 chambers that seem to serve no purpose to me. I'm not sure if it's dirt or algae that grew inside and now I don't really want to use it.

Anyone else have a similar one? Should I not worry about it? Don't want to introduce algae to the pool.

Likely is algae. Won't get into the pool. Algae is in the air, on the dust and everything else that drops into the water 24/7. Keep the chlorine up and it won't cause any issues.
