Pump installed in 2011. Today I noticed a slight clicking sound coming from the back of the pump motor. If I didn’t know any better it sounds like electric arcing Pump sound.
I’m not sure if this is a sign that the motor is nearing end of life and will fail at some point - but in any case, would love to know if anybody has heard this kind of noise before.
My next question is, does it make any sense to replace just the motor if it’s failing and leave the pump housing in place?
Thanks in advance
