Intex supports wood or pavers?

I’ve seen a ton and researched about the best support for the legs on the Intex. I have the 12x24x52. I want to keep it up year round. It seems like the wood will rot but I’m also seeing that pavers are prone to splitting. What is the best material to use? Am I missing something. I e attached a picture of my DIY water level.

Don’t use traditional garden pavers - they are not very thick and could crack. Instead look for thicker pavers. I know you can get some up to 4” thick.

I just put up the 18x9x52 XTR. I went with 2x12x16 long. It was hard enough getting each position level to each other. I can't imagine doing it with 2 concrete blocks at each position. You will be pulling up each support to shave a bit more dirt out, way more than you can imagine. Now imagine that with 2 thick concrete blocks....

You don't need any wider than 12" as the base of the legs curve up and mine don't touch the whole width of the 12". That wood will outlive the pool.

I'm in the same boat and used pavers. What happened was the metal bent. Each paver was not balanced with one another so that was my error.
I am draining and starting over. Ordered another metal holder and I think I will change to pressurized wood.

Thanks for letting me know. It’s so much work to just have to redo. I already have some pavers but sounds like pressurized wood is a better choice

I have 16x16x1.75 pavers from HomeDepot under mine. I stacked 2 on top of each other to try and better support the top one (so far so good at 3 months). I used a 6-foot level allowing me to level each paver/pad to the next one and just worked my way around the pool.

Those are the exact ones I have and they crumble and break like nothing I’ve ever seen so that’s why I’m looking for another material. They just seem so weak

Not sure if you've already purchased something to go under the liner. We used 3 layers of 5.8oz landscape fabric plus the thin tarp that comes with the pool. Feels great underfoot and was cheap. We used landscape fabric staples on each layer and pulled it really taut, so no wrinkles.
