Hi Pool world. I recently installed a Omnilogic upgrade kit on an old aqualogic system. Everything went good except im having trouble configuring the heater. Its on relay 1 and communication cables are going to sensor ext 4 on the board. Left it on the same place it was on last board. Tried adding heating source with relay 1 but nothing happens when I turn on the heater on the remote.Any help will be appriciate

Heater model? If you turned the breaker to the heater off it might not be in BO mode (bypass operation for automation) anymore.

The Pentair MasterTemp should be connected to the Omni using the fireman’s switch on the heater to the LV1 HEATER relay circled below.
Thank you. So I need to just move the two cables to LV1heater. I did do that and tried it but it would't turn on I do need to make sure they are wired to the fireman switch like your picture. As far as power to the heater do I need to get it off the 1st relay and rewire to stay on all the time? The heater can be powered from your filter pump relay or directly connected to a circuit breaker.

Fairly new 1 year old worked before the upgrade. I tried leaving it on the filter relay when I switched the cables to lv1 and it dint work. Im thinking I will wire it directily for power instead of relay and get some new comm wires to fireman switch to panel under LV1. I was having the same issue with the VS pump it woudl't work on the filter relay so I wired directly to breaker and it worked

You sure your filter pump relay is connected to the correct socket?
The Omni needs to be put in POOL mode for things on the filter pump relay to run.

Yes I followed the wires. Its relay 1 same place heater is wired to for power. This one here. Since the picture I rewired the pump power directly to breaker and started working with all the VS features before if I set it on relay 1 and a single speed it would not work. Im thinking of doing the same with heater after communication cables are in
Note: for heater I can select a LV1, LV2 or a relays 1-8. If I select LV1 there is no relay I can select. If I do it the other way and select the relay not lv1 or lv2 the heater does not turn on even tho is on that relay

If you take the two ends of the cable and short them together does the heater turn on?
Update on this. I got the heater to turn on and is being controlled by the omnilogic. This is what I did. Wired diect to power not on a relay. Put the two wires under LV1. Now it turns on but the heater it self has an error. I think this is a heater issue nothing to do with the automation. It tries ti turn on. I can even smell the gas but does not ignite. Here is the error on heater it self

That is the way the MasterTemp should be connected.
Check the gas pressure with a manometer.
Replace the igniter.
Could you have air in the gas line that needs to be purged?
Possible. Is a year old heater going to have the warranty tech deal with that. Filling a claim with Pentair for the customer. I think as far as automation is all good now.
For heater setting omni logic makes it kind of difficult to configure because you can only choose 1 relay. If you choose LV1 and heater high voltage is powered to HV1. The heater wont work because there is no high voltage power going to the heater and kill switch cables are not on to work with LV1
So in my case I had to wire high voltage directly so it has power all the time and kill switch wires are controlled by LV1 on board
