Triangle with the exclamation point in Pool Math?

CC is not a critical item except at the end of the SLAM process. Just go into Settings and deselect tracking it. And there is no need to test for it on a regular basis.

Means it has been rising. So you must have added stabilizer which raised the CYA.

Just to expand on the magnificent Mr. K’s comment. Are you consistently using liquid chlorine? (Per your profile) If you are also using tabs or granular occasionally your CYA will likely rise over time. Per the TFP mantra, keep a careful eye on this as CYA and Cl levels are the foundation of proper water chemistry balance for oxidation's/sanitizing.

Nope. I’ve been reducing my CYA actually. Was 100 my first test on June 1. I did some draining and refilling. Got it down to 90, then 70, and finally to 60. I’ve been logging things so don’t know why it’s showing as rising, because it’s the opposite.

I have no tabs in my pool and have just been using liquid chlorine.

Thanks, and what is the ascending arrow I’ve got on CYA mean?

It means we clearly need to select a new icon. I was worried this would occur, and don’t blame Marty as this is where my mind went too.

With further review, the upward arrow means you are at the top of the acceptable range.

THIS is where our mind was at. The arrow pointing up or down means your levels are within the upper/lower end of the recommended levels, just not ideal. If you see this…..you’re good but it’s worth keeping an eye on the levels.
