Hi all,
I’m trying to help my neighbor get their pool straightened out. It’s one of those Coleman 18’ X 48 round pools. They just bought a great white sand filter (see photos) for it. But, I found out today that they uncovered it and it sat with no circulation or chemicals for about 3 weeks and now they’re battling a green pool.
I tested with my Taylor test kit
FC 1.5
Ph 7.2
Alk 140
CH 130
CYA 18 (from pool store because my test kit only reads above 30 for cya)
Today, we added some powered stabilizer and calcium according to what the pool math app says to add. Will as some chlorine according the to app as well.
What is the next step? I’m attaching a photo of the green.
Do we SLAM next?
