May be the wrong place to post and if there is another thread about this some where else I apologize, but I want to get my Borates up about 10 ppm. I have been using 20 Mule Borax , but read using boric acid would be a better option . I always thought boric acid was just to be used for a pesticide, not for the pool. Article said boric acid can raise levels higher with same amount, not effect ph very much, so no MA, and if certain metals are in the pool won’t interact like with Borax. If this is good information, what is a quality boric acid for the pool. Amazon has 2 5lbs of powdered boric acid, 99+ pure, technical grade for $35 sold by Duda Energy. I ran the numbers so 10 lbs should do it . Thanks
