How long do multi-valves typically last?

Bought my house 5 years ago and can only assume pool multi-valve was new then (can’t be sure). Looks like I’m leaking at bottom waste-output piping. Tried tightening the big screw but to no avail. Is 5+ years about par for the course for these things?

Next step I guess will be to disconnect there and inspect for cracks. Happy New Year everyone

Probably just a spider gasket leak. My old multivalve lasted 20 years and I only replaced the filter because the shell was leaking.
