pentair easytouch pump not turning off

Hi,

Today my pool pump would not turn off on the schedule. I tried turning off the pump via app and directly at the control panel and nothing worked. The red light sbove pump filter stays on and it won't turn off when pressing the button. I had to hit the reset button / turn it to service mode to get it to stop. I checked the alerts / delays and nothing there. All the other buttons are working with the exception of being able to turn off the pump. I cycled the power as well and that did not fix it.

What type of pump do you have? Single Speed, 2-speed, or VS speed?

Its a VS speed pump. I checked the system delays again and I noticed it now says 'pool pump's under alerts. If I hit cancel the pump shuts off, but if I restart the pump and try to turn off the same issue reoccurs with the delay message appearing

What do your schedules look like?

The system thinks the pump needs to run for some reason.

Have you pushed the reset button on the main panel? It is like rebooting your PC.

I tried resetting ( the reset button on the panel at the right). The schedule is from 9-5. I turned it on after the schedule finished and that's when it would no longer turn off. I did let it run after the delay popped up and it did turn off but probably after an approximately 10 min delay.
