Do I need to raise TA, lower pH, and cut my salt generator running hours down?

My eyebrows raised when I saw your CYA, but quickly realized you have a SWG. Everything looks good! I would just make sure you have enough chlorine that your CYA demands. I’m not super educated about SWGs like most of this forum, so they can chime in on that. Everything else looks awesome, though! Keep up the good work!Do I need to raise TA, lower pH, and cut my salt generator running hours down?

Your TA is perfect, which is likely why your pH level is also perfect! The only test you didn’t mention is CH, but since your pool is vinyl, it’s really not that important. Or it’s something you can check out when you get super bored. I have a vinyl AGP and test my CH maybe once a month out of sheer boredom lolDo I need to raise TA, lower pH, and cut my salt generator running hours down?

I do it just because I want to see the colors change.Your TA is perfect! The only test you didn’t mention is CH, but since your pool is vinyl, it’s really not that important. It is kinda fun haha! Do you have a Speed Stir?I do it just because I want to see the colors change. And that I want to use the reagent. You know, don't want to just "throw it away".
Never mix without it. It would be like a sin to try to "swirl".. And not NEARLY as satisfying to see the colors change inside the little vortex lit up from the bottom.Do you have a Speed Stir?
Confession: in 2019 when I got my first pool, I was too cheap to invest in the speed stir and would actually stand there swirling (and often spilling) my test sample while aimlessly adding the reagent drops.Never mix without it. I tried, for fun, to "swirl"... Yeah, that was a disaster.Confession: in 2019 when I got my first pool, I was too cheap to invest in the speed stir and would actually sit there swirling (and often spilling) my test sample while adding the reagent drops.I DO NOT KNOW HOW I GOT THROUGH THAT ENTIRE SUMMER WITHOUT IT! I finally purchased before closing (it was gently used on eBay and I’m a frugal float queen, so it was meant to be). I kicked myself for not getting it sooner. GAME CHANGER.
Thank you!No, no, and no.Your numbers look great where they are.

I don't check CH everytime but it was just fine!Your TA is perfect, which is likely why your pH level is also perfect! It was awful!! Swirling while adding drops simultaneously AND having to keep track counting each drop. It was demoralizing!! Haha! And I’m not AS frugal anymore when it comes to necessities. My only cheap-o problem currently is not wanting to spend the money on a SWG until next year, even though I told my husband I want one for Christmas this year lolI tried, for fun, to "swirl"... Yeah, that was a disaster.

Just change your name to theFRUGALfloatqueen.
Getting slightly off topic here, but I had to ask... You want an SWG before a VSP? Do you run your single speed 24x7? I'm looking into biting the bullet next year and getting BOTH. Or may just wait until we get a hard side AGP. Or then again, save the money on the hard side AGP by already having a good VSP, filter and SWG. Decisions, decisions. It was awful!! Electricity is cheap here, but the pandemic hit my business HARD, so I really didn’t have the funds for one at that time. Trust me, I looked into it. I’m a commercial real estate investor (ok, glorified landlord lol) and the rent pause about drained us!! No pool pun intended lolGetting slightly off topic here, but I had to ask...
