Little particles on the pool surface in the morning... pollen (or some other vegetation) or something more sinister?

Bit hard to see unless it's in the son, but there are very small particles that show up on the pools surface in the am. You can't really see it unless it's directly in the sunlight, and I can skim it out (or it just disappears when the water gets moved).

I think it's just from the plants that we have around the pool, as the pollen is stupid high right now and it's been a bit windy. Any thoughts?

I slammed a week ago, passed all the tests, FC has been over 10 with my CYA of 70. (Letting it drift down and learning the ropes of the SWCG). I don't notice anything on the bottom of the pool or walls, and when scrubbed nothing is noticed.

I am in NJ also and we get a lot of pollen (as you know). I get the same thin you are seeing.

Just let it ride out or do you have a method to skim the top of the pool for removal..
I just let it ride out. I can't think of anything to do other than let the skimmer do it's job. I am open to suggestions but wouldn't go to far out of the way to do anything about it.
