We are putting in a steel wall vinyl liner 18x36 rectangular pool with a 6 foot sun ledge. I am thinking about adding two bubblers to the sun ledge and would like some feedback from anyone who has bubblers and a vinyl liner. I'm worried about them leaking and floating the liner on the sun ledge or any other issues. Any advice if I should stay away from this set up? Thanks.

I don't have bubblers. I'm not 100% on this, but I'm thinking no to the bubblers on a vinyl pool. Maybe that's just because it's not something that's done often or at all. How deep will the sun ledge be? I do know some people worry about uneven liner wear with that much liner at a shallow depth.

👍 I was thinking most people have shallower ledges so you should be good. 12” of water depth or 12” from pool deck?

12 inches of water depth.
Awesome! Great depth. As for the bubblers, I can't think of a reason why it can't or shouldn't be done. Assume the install would be similar in vein to installing main drains, so you should be good to go. Just be careful when winterizing which I assume you will do in MO. Hopefully someone chimes in soon who has bubblers in a vinyl pool but I can't think of any vinyl TFP'ers who have bubblers.

Do you have a build thread going already? Has the build started or still in planning phase? Based on your signature, no heater/lights/automation. Do you intend to have a 2nd pump for the bubblers or just running through the Tristar?
