Passed OCLT, but can't get cloudy water clear?

Your union shouldn’t leak ever- you can disconnect it & put some pool lube on the oring to see if that solves the problem.

Also, all your 90’s are DWV fittings- they are not meant for pressure. The builder needs to replace all DWV fittings with the proper schedule 40 ones.

Got it, thanks.

They are schedule 40, I bought them. Basically I am the builder too.

It’s the shallow sockets that usually cause a problem- double check the ASTM rating on them
It’s not an emergency or anything (some people never have problems) but if you had paid a builder to do the plumbing & only had a year warranty you’d wanna have them correct it before you never heard from them again.

Another good set of numbers in my logs. Been running pump 24/7 with SWG at 20% and have stayed around 6/7 FC. Should I keep it there until clear or let it creep down to 3-5?

Tonight’s clarity update. When it was daylight, queen of the house said it was getting clearer 😊.

Looks like the pool brush pic is improving.
Thanks, I agree. Last two days really started seeing improvement. I can now saw hazy things at the bottom of the deep end too 😊

Btw, I know Perth is Western Australia but my roots are in Gladstone (Queensland?), where my grandmother was born and grew up.
