Hi guys,

After almost 3 weeks of SLAMMING (I opened my pool with a huge green pea soup mess !), I've met most criteria (clear pool, CC less than or equal to 0.5). Now I need to pass the OCLT before stopping the SLAM. I did the test last night after sunset and this morning before sunrise. I have a difference of 1.5 ppm (3 drops) between both measurements. I was wondering what is the OCLT measurement error ? Is it 0.5 ppm ? I'm assuming maybe 1-2 drops were bigger or smaller than the others but I could be wrong. I am happy to continue the SLAM I don't want to just settle with "close enough mentality". What do you guys think ?

As always thanks for your suggestions/precious knowledge,

René

Generally accuracy is +\- 1 drop.

You should keep going.

Make sure when you're adding drops that you hold the bottle vertically and squeeze just enough so that drops form naturally and break free from the bottle due to gravity rather than the force of the squeeze. This will help ensure repeatable, accurate testing.
