Do these SLAM readings look normal??

So I’m on day 3 of a SLAM after a crazy ridiculous amount of rain that overflowed our pool. This is also my first SLAM( new house, new pool) I’m using the Taylor K-2006 kit and meticulously following directions, on the testing and adding chlorine according to the “pool math” calculations. I did recently find out that I should have rounded up the 45 CYA to 50 but in truth it was probably closer to being 40. I’ve been using the CalHypo bags since we had them and our CH hasn’t been very high, but now I’m finally done with them and wanting to continue the Slam with liquid chlorine. I’m just curious if my FC numbers look normal for what you would have for a SLAM it just seems like I lose a lot and can barely keep up with keeping the m at SLAM level. Am I just over thinking it? Just need some advice/guidance:)
As a note: we were definitely pool stored when we first bought the house, and bought all this powder shock and trichlor tabs, and we are going to start with only liquid chlorine, but hubby wanted to use what we had already paid for. I do have him convinced to stop the trichlor tabs so now that the calHypo is gone (as of my last addition just a bit ago), we are going forward with the liquid chlorine:)

If it was over 40, then round up to 50 and slam at 20FC.

You are early in the process. Test and replace FC every couple hours as you can. You are doing fine.

Post some pictures of the pool so we can see the entire thing and the color of the water.

Credit to you for all the hand-written notes on your testing, but you can make it easier on yourself if you use the Pool Math app on your phone, then you can digitally record everything in the app, and have historical records (I think the historical records in Pool Math require you to purchase the app for like $5 -- but still easier than keeping track with a pen/paper) -- still I'm impressed. Make sure you clean up debris in your pool, check your filter pressure, and do an OCLT test as well, but you're on the right track SLAMing...

How do you like your VRX IQ+ btw, I have one too! Love it.

I absolutely repel technology!😂🤣🤣 I just find it so much easier and faster to write stuff down because I’m slow at typing /texting and half the time I’ll look up and most of what I typed out is misspelled or horribly autocorrected because of my fat fingers, lol. I even tried talk to text, but I’m WAY to country and I end up having to go back and fix that too!🤣 We love our cleaner! It seriously amazing! We have definitely been keeping the pool clean and I’m keeping an eye on the filter Pressure:)

We have some pretty serious mottling I believe. I’ve done the AA treatment on it and even tried the Jacks Magic Stain ID kit and nothing helps:( And we scrub with a stainless brush like our lives depend on it, lol. I’m guessing the previous owners didn’t care and just let it be, but I’m thinking that we will do a drain and acid wash before next season.

Every acid wash you do reduces the life of the plaster so don’t do it unless you need to…(or have a $15k wad of cash you have nothing to spend on).
