Kimkats, Yes pool ran each time before test. I felt I may have cheated adding chlorine at 11Am on the first test. So last night I did it again.
No chlorine added yesterday except for the auto douser. The pool had seen 4 teenagers swimming that day, what time and for how long I'm not sure. I'd guess around midday.
Results
FC4 CC3
FC4 CC0
I ran the pool for 30 minutes before each test and conditions are very similar in time to first test.
With my test kit the process is
1: fill test tube to specific line with pool water
2: add 1 heaped scoop of Chlorine detection powder and mix well. Scoop is a bit bigger than a match head.
3: add 1 drop of Chlorine Titrating reagent at a time, mix well each drop. Count drops and divide by 2. In my case 8 drops / 2 = 4 for FC.
4 Add 5 drops of Chlorine detection reagent liquid. If sample remains clear it = no CC or 0. This is my morning test results. If sample turns pink add 1 drop of Titrating reagent till turns clear, then divide by 2. This was my evenenting test process. 5 drop + 1 divide by 2 = 3CC
The test kit is Clear Choice Labs
Some pics at 5.30am, apologies for the not so stead hand on zoom.
