pool math not working on my phone any more

pretty sure I messed something up. I was gone for 10 days and also was going to switch phones but didn't have the right sim card so that didn't work and in the meantime I had to delete some things and fool around trying to move data. anyway it says it is on and I don't seem to need an update but it won't load anymore. gives me "Unfortunately, Pool Math has stopped." and the option to report or say OK. I reported once yesterday I think.

on the plus side, son and I guessing amounts of chlorine to add each day I was gone with NO testing (yikes) landed RIGHT on the money when I tested after I got home yesterday.

Sign out of the app and back in
If that doesn't work, delete the app and reinstall it.

Any saved data is safe as it's stored on the server and linked to your username/email address.

ah that is one thing I was worried about for doing a reinstall. thanks, will try that.

well, it is not working again today. same pop up as before

I just tried it again and almost loaded, in fact I was about to edit with "never mind" but then it stopped with the same message. but for a few seconds I could see the overview screen. now it won't even get the blue background.

Have you tried clearing the cache and data for the app? Deleting the app usually will leave the old app data/cache and some apps you just have to go in there and clear that out yourself. This happens with my Lutron app sometimes.

Happened to me once with PoolMath, and clearing app data and cache (requires relogin afterwards) fixed the problem.

I was scared to try clearing data so I unintsalled/reinstalled again. if it happens I will try clearing data. clearing cache did not work

All of your data is stored on a TFP server. The only thing you need to remember when clearing the data is your login and password.

no clue (have I mentioned I am pretty tech inept?) either something in Windows or Firefox??? it is only on my desktop. I don't have phone or other computers linked together.

whelp, it happened again. I keep thinking it is fixed, then the next day it crashes. something is happening overnight, because I can open it several times on the day I reinstall. it is the next day it seems to crash. LOL my phone can't pass the Overnight App Loss Test. Ironically, yesterday the receipt email came for the subscription renewal and I thought to myself "I wonder if that had anything to do with it?"
