Really! What size suction pipe do you have? should be at least 1.5" and I can't imagine that being plugged by a pecan.

We have a couple massive pecan trees....right over the pool. The pecans are pretty big when they fall and are still in the husk or whatever and wouldn't be surprised if maybe it got wrapped up with something else? Either way. The pine and pecan trees have become the bane of my existence

There is a non-prescription treatment for that. You can get it over the counter in various dosages. Stihl is one of the best brands
