QUESTION, new stonescapes plaster start up, PB says that I don't need a sequestering agent when pool is full because I am using light colored stone scapes ( Aqua White + 3 bags of glass beads ) that is BS I am thinking? Plaster start up instructions from NPC says it is a good idea to add a high quality sequestering agent on Day 1. I plan to follow all NPC plaster start up instructions as per this groups council. What brand should I buy/how much 15k gal ? Also can the sequestering agent be added if the POOL EQUIP IS NOT TURNED ON ? Sounds like there will be a 3 day lag time from fill until PB comes out and fires up the equipment ( I hate that )

Each sequestering agent has its own mixture. There should be directions on bottle to add x volume of sequesterant per 10,000 gals or similar instructions. You should run the pump for at least 30 mins after adding any chemical.
