Sagging liner walls in new above ground pool

We just finished building our new 16x26 oval above ground pool and must have messed up the liner positioning. We have sagging liner walls that are not disappearing as we fill it. We have been using a shop vac, but it doesn't seem to help with the opposite wall. Is this salvageable or do we have to drain the pool and re-align the liner?

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry you did not get any responses. Let's see if some of your Above Ground pool members can weigh in.

Hi Elaine, I'm no help, and a new member too, but I have similar problems and I'm wondering how you made out?

Unfortunately, the pool guy rescheduled to Monday. This is a bit more painful than we had hoped. I hope your project is going well!
I'm sorry your guy rescheduled. They are so busy this time of year.

Our project is finally going a little more smoothly, thanks for asking.

We will be turning the water off in 50 minutes for the night and start again tomorrow around 10am, when the sun hits the pool.

After our first attempt, we had to drain everything we had put in, too, and redo the "clocking" to get it right. What a performance.

Good luck!

Thanks so much! He is actually coming tomorrow now, but, based on my pics, we are busy pumping out the water. It was an expensive and time-consuming mistake, but it will make the first swim even better! Hope your project is still going well!
The pool guys came, drained the rest of the pool, "clocked" the liner more :), and went to re-adjust, but it is too hot today and the liner is too pliable! They are coming back tonight to finish the adjustment. Fingers crossed!
