Hello all
a few days ago my 1.5yr old IC40 started flashing red and green salt light well past the normal start up time - pool water was just checked and everything is within specs, Salt at 3680 per store and dip strip set at 40% 2000hrs on cell per unit Also the good cell light is not lit

had heavy pool usage last week

Thank you

MB,

The flow light should always be either red or green when the system is running.

Without a green flow light, the system will never be able to test the salt level, which is why the lights are doing the railroad crossing dance.

Sounds to me like your cell is bad. The test that shows the hours is really only guessing at how much plate life is left. It has nothing to do with the other million things that can go wrong. In my mind a pretty useless test most of the time.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thank you for the reply. I schedule a service call and stock up on chlorine.
