Metered dosing of chlorine during daylight using Stenner pump

@Triumph65 When searching for swgs, remember not all 60,000 gallon units are the same. Compare chlorine production in pounds per day. Pureline (Inyo Pool) has a 60k unit that's rated at 3.18 lb per day.
@Rancho Cost-a-Lotta - Thank you! I did a bunch of reading on SWG & stone. I’m none the wiser as a result LOL.
Maybe I should take some pics of my pool and post it in SWG forum to ask about stone. You think that’s the best forum category?
My pool is a little different in that I have a bunch of the flagstone below the waterline.
Thanks for your help! I appreciate it.

I would post in SWGs. Thinking about it but concerns about...kinda thread.

For my Stener in sunny Columbia SC I kept my CYA at 50

Night or day it really doesn't matter

Is this pool plumbed with all copper lines all the way to the pool?
Thanks @tim5055, yes it has all copper all the way to the pool from what I can tell. I think it is a 60+ year old pool, and that is how they build pools early on. I also have a cya of 50. Just curious, how long do you run your Stenner for each day? I guess it prolongs the life of the squeeze tube if the Stenner pumps more per hour and runs less hours, but on the other hand, at least for my plan of pumping chlorine directly into the pool, my theory is that pumping more hours (perhaps 6 to 10) at a slower rate would seem to be safer to keep the chlorine well blended into the pool water (though I still plan to turn it off when swimming).
