My concrete deck is in need of cleaning, visible mildew? What chemicals can I use that won't mess up the water if it gets introduced during the cleaning process? Thanks for any advice!

Just pressure wash it off and skip the worry of chems near your pool.
Used pressure washer last year with less than adequate results (it tore up the surface even though I used the surface cleaner attachment with the spinning head). I can feel grit on the surface now. I want to scrub with a brush and rinse.

Sounds like it’s a bit too powerful. I have one of these and doesn’t do any damage.

I would try it without the surface cleaner attachment then. I use my widest tip (45 degree) and it’s not so bad. It might take longer then the surface attachment but your less likely to damage anything. It will be a lot faster and easier then spaying bleach and scrubbing with a brush.

I agree with @Orion7319. I would spray bleach and let it sit for a few minutes. Then hit it with a weak pressure washer.

This one is incredibly useful. The head does not spin very fast, but it does not need to. It makes very quick work of my bbq area.
Anything that requires a little bit a elbow grease or a short step stool, this is a huge time saver.
You can buy 3 types of bristles. Medium is what it comes with, but you might want the firm, for cleaning concrete, or pavers.
