Suction Side Air Leak

After lots of research on this topic, I'm wondering the general opinion of this trusted community. In this video, I'm bleeding the air from the filter. I do this daily, and this is an average amount of air. My question, is this 'normal', or should I investigate an air leak.

Too much air under the pump lid and appears to be bubbles entering the pump. I suspect you have a leak. A minor one, but a leak.

Does the pump basket stay full of water when the pump is turned off for a while?

Thank you. Yes, the pump basket stays as full as you see when the pump is running.

I'm thinking the only culprit would be the small elbow of PVC between the ground and the pump? I believe the lid to be fine, as I have a new gasket and that sucker is tight.
