Has anyone had any experience with Jandy repair service in CA? My pool guy says I need a whole new system @ $6300! Says there is a short in the circuit but offered no help in trying to fix it. Need a second opinion or someone to repair what I have thanks

Welcome to TFP.

I doubt you need a whole new system. And a whole new system should cost less then $6,300.

Do you have the interest in trying to repair it yourself?

Your location says Hilton Head but you are asking about a repair service in CA???

Some members have had good experiences with BP Engineering, Inc. repairing their Jandy boards.

He wants to sell you an entirely new system because that's all pool builders/maintenance people know how to do.

Before I went a different route, I reached out to the guy at BP Engineering, he seems to be a good dude and the repairs are cheap.

I have also used BP Engineering for board repair. I was very satisfied with Bob's service - prompt and very reasonable. It sure beats buying a new All Button panel for $600+ or a used one on eBay for half that.

Maybe take a picture of your system so we can understand what you have.
I did a complete upgrade to my PCB and antenna to go from a PDA set up to a wireless setup for less then $2k and I bought new equipment from a authorized dealer. There is no need to change the box/housing. The $6300 sounds ridiculous.
