Kathy is correct about what the manual says about installing the salt cell.. That said, it will work just fine where it is...
To nut pick, if you have two skimmers, then having only one pipe back to the equipment pad is a mistake.. Not a huge one, but kind of a stupid one.

Chlorine from a SWCG is not acidic. So no need for a check valve. If using trichlor, it is very acidic. So at the least a check valve is needed.
Sorry, I was quoting Jandy as they require a check valve before any sanitation equipment, including SWCG's. I thought that was also the recommended approach by most manufacturers? Also, I think Pentair says the SWCG should be at least 3ft from the the heater outlet. While things may "work", it is far from the recommended practice or published materials from the manufacturer. I would be worried that if something fails in the heater, it would not be covered under warranty due to the installation.

All of that is a carryover from trichlor chlorinators. The SWCG has no effect on heaters. And there is no continuous release from them with the pump off. The Trichlor device continuously dissolves the acidic mixture regardless if the pump is running or not.
Carryover or not, the OP was asking if his equipment was installed correctly and the answer is still no. The published installation materials from Pentair are specific and his installation does not meet the requirements. I would bet if he has an early corrosion issue Pentair would deny it due to faulty install and even if they didn't, why should he have to deal with the potential for the issue. The builder should install the equipment to spec so OP can have a trouble free experience.

Used the Pool (Actually the Spa) for the first time!!
This Spa doesn’t give nearly the benefits of a stand alone, but I heated it up from 62 to 98 in less then an hour, my Bullfrog would’ve taken a day to do that. Plus we really used our last spa more for kids going back and forth to the pool then anything else.

As time goes on, please tell us how your spa overflow works. I'm really interested in how well the small gap around the spa stays clean and algae free.
Looks great!!
As far as spas go, once you get standalone spa hot, it will stay hot forever for pennies a day. And no one has to wait to get in.

Finally got some furniture and started adding some plants. Highly recommend the Ledge Loungers, not cheap by any means, but we have no regrets.
