My eyes are bleeding from reading this forum and googling in anticipation of this pool being built. It’s hopefully going to be done in about 2 months. Included is the first month of pool care but I’m going to be using the TFP method. I want to be as prepared as possible, what else should I have ready to go? Thanks!
Preparing for a new pool, what do I need besides the TF-100 kit?

If the PB is doing start up and leaves you with reasonable water chemistry for a SWCG pool, the only thing you will need on a regular basis will be muriatic acid. Readily available at HD/Lowes or pool stores. No reason to get it until you need it.
Hey R2 !! Which kit did you get? If it was only the TF-100 you will need to also get K-1766 to test the salt. (The TF-100 salt kit comes with it) if you got either of those you should order a smart stir device to make testing even easier and more accurate. If you got the TF-100- salt - pro, then you're golden with all 3.

I haven’t ordered yet, I was going to get this one which I believe is your recommendation. Would you do any of the add on options listed underneath?

I would also get the XL kit. There is an easy, yet curve-y learning curve. You'll need some tries to get it right and also test more frequently at first as you learn how your pool behaves. The XL kit will give you plenty to spare.
The samplesizer is a neat tool. You fill the vial the whole way and dunk it in and it displaces the extra for you. It's easy enough to fill the water to 10 ml (?) So not needed if you aren't into having lots of toys.
The PH meter is also a neat toy that isn't needed but feel free to get your gadget on if need be.
The salt strips are not as accurate as the included salt kit. Def not needed.
The borate kit isn't needed now as most see no reason to add berates.

If you haven't already, make sure to discuss with the builder how the first month of pool care will be done. It would be hard to screw it up too badly in a month, but I'd want to make sure they won't be using an algaecide (which might add copper to your water) or anything else undesirable.
Hey sorry to bring up an older post. I am ordering my kit and don’t see the ph or samplesizer tool. Do you have any recommendations as to which ones to purchase?

I would avoid the sample sizer. Just pushes water out. Makes a mess. Easy enough to just use squeeze bottle and just as fast.
I too was excited with first pool last year and bought pH meter. It just sits. Easier to do drop test. If you want mine bought last year, I’ll sell to you at a discount!
