First pool Tampa area - Plumbing question

I know this will come as a surprise to everyone but my PB didn't tell me what to do today (if anything)...someone is supposed to come tomorrow and turn on the pumps and add chemicals. So should I start brushing today or is that pointless with the filter not being turned on? Here's what I have for my tests...not sure I should do anything other than wait for PB but here's my starting point:

FC: 0
Ph: 7.8 (This was a little tough to tell, it looked closer to the 7.8 color than the 7.5 color)
CH: 200 (Per the Wet Edge Start Up Instructions this needs to be raised to 250)
TA: 240

@JamesW This is what I wound up with for the wall suction (I think...couldn't see the model # on it but based on size and look)...these things are hideous.

I guess I should have actually measured the pvc pipe for the wall suction instead of going by paperwork...the pipe isn't 2 1/2 inches...I don't know what it is...I measured the circumference of the pipe that is connected to the cover and goes into the wall pvc and it's about 6 1/2 inches around which from what I can find, doesn't match the circumference of any typical pvc pipe sizes so I don't know.wall suction 1.jpg

I went to the link, they come in many colors, light gray, grey, blue, etc. to best match your plaster, why they always do white is beyond me.

I didn't even notice that...was too busy focusing on how big they are, lol. The ones they installed are actually light grey (hard to tell that from the picture) but they should have done the darker grey to match the rest of the fittings.

No one else will ever notice it.
How's the overall pool looking? Are you seeing that TFP sparkle yet? Would love to see some more pictures!
