Something in the surface of the Pool

Guys I have this trouble with my pool I just drain the water yesterday because I just bought this house and i wanted to have clean water cause i don’t know who get in to it and i have kids you know for sanity
So i filled with new water today from a local service they Specified that the water is for pools and even for drink if is that the case
so i put in the chloride tablets and i found a few hours later (5 hours ) some white dots in the surface i don’t know what it is,
some forum Says it could be calcium other forum says it could be pollen i have no idea how to test the water can you help me with this Issue

Initially I was thinking it might just be some organic material form the well, aquifer, or whatever the source of the water came from. Calcium could be confirmed if you are able to capture some of it, place it in a small pile, and pour acid or vinegar on it. If it fizzles it's calcium flakes. But if it doesn't fizzle, or you can't even capture any of it, it might just be organic material that needs chlorine to break down. Hopefully you can get a proper test kit (TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C) to confirm your chemistry.

Ok Sr let me check that, i’ll do the acid thing to see if it is calcium if it is or if it is something organic, would be safe to swim in it ? A couple of friends are coming to a party today and i would like to be relax about my friends and their kids safety hahaha

before of this issue i had added 6 chlorine tablets of my 45,000 liters pool

Yesterday i added those tablets but the pump timer runs 1:30 hrs and stops 2 hour and starts again should i let it run more time ?

You need to take that tablet out of the pool. It needs to be in a floating dispenser. It will damage the grout in your tile sitting where it is.

You need a proper test kit. Are you able to order items from the USA?

Yeah i live near Texas, what product should i use, should be safe to swim in those conditions ?

Here is the results i added those tablets yesterday but the pump is not running all day so don’t know if i have to let it run longer to let the chlorine to mix properly

To be safe you should add liquid chlorine before anyone goes in swimming. Let us know what you have & we can tell you how much to add. Liquid shock & household bleach are both liquid chlorine. Household bleach should be plain bleach not scented or no splash.

Have you ever added CYA or cyanuric acid to the pool or maybe something called "stabilizer"? Proper chlorine level is a function of proper CYA level.

at this moment the only chemical that is in the pool is the chlorine tablets which are six of them, one in the middle of both sides and one per corner
I did the test and the chlorine index raise a bit, i have had the pump run about 3 hours at this moment

These are some chemicals that i have in the garage
pH -
pH+
chlorine tablets
algaecide and others kind of chlorine i think the right translation is dichlorine (dicloro)

Use the pucks for now until you get your test kit and cya/stabilizer. Just throw one in the skimmer. Should be fine for swimming as long as you get a chlorine reading at all on your test kit.
